Also hate to be a bearer of bad news but also he not covered by his
credit card anyway cause it only applies if the item was brought within
UK or maybe EU. as was recently ruled in the summer last year I think
it was. (A few credit card companies one being Lloyds TSB) ask for a
ruling and claration on the matter.
