I am using a HP MX70 monitor and the settings say I can set to the
resolution.
The picture gets altered and everything appears smaller when I alter the
resolution, BUT the desktop is too big . Icons are place out of view and
when you move the mouse to the side, the desktop pans. The monitor edges are
in the right place, as in the mouse stops at the edge and the desktop moves
to accommodate. but how to get the desktop to be the correct size. that is
the question.
