Certainly I've managed to get around that by going to Title 1 of the
disc and then hitting the Menu button. It works for Apple's DVD Player
anyway - haven't tried it on the DVD player hooked up to the TV but I'd
imagine if it works for the computer it'll work for the set-up player.

I've no problem with DRM as long as it treats it's users with respect,
and hardly any current DRM does that. It's also bad enough with
Microsoft dominating the downloadable film and music market by not
releasing Windows Media Player 10 for anything other than Windows
machines (and here's the irony - most producers I've come across have
Apple Macs which means that they can't view their own bloody movies on
them). Apple have FairPlay DRM for iTunes and that seems fairly
respectable - allowing up to 5 machines to use the same file and it'll
work on Macs or Windows. It's better than Napster anyway.

You'd think that with all this digital technology somebody would come
up with a fair system, but if anything it's only made things much
worse. Sigh.

Regards,

Martyn
