So far I've had about 4 letters from them concerning this, but not one
of them admits to the problem. They only asked me to return the 'faulty'
disc for replacement. Which I did, and now I have 2 box sets - one minus
a disc. I wrote back weeks ago, but haven't heard since.

I have the original Aliens release and have compared the two releases.
The first release is fine - no problems there. The sync issue is fairly
slight, and granted most people wouldn't notivce it unless it was
pointed out to them, but it's certainly there nonetheless.

You can see the problem at it's most obvious just after the 30 minute or
so timepoint where Drake (?) slaps Hudson on the arm twice - just after
the knife stunt.

I can't watch it now because it drives me nuts. I have to watch the
origial release instead, which is ok, really, but it's the principle
here and I hate that these stupid people can't sort it all out.
