main thing to check is resolution - a 26" apple (for example) monitor will
probably have a higher resolution than an equivalent size of LCD tv.
of course the resolution of the lcd tv may be enough for your needs... just
make sure it has a HDMI input to which you can feed the DVI output of your
pc.
