Hi Mark,
It does NOT mention anything about llowering the contrast in the manual, I
just reread the bloody thing and although it does mention screen burn it
does not mention any run in period or settings to avoid it,
It does howether state that it has automatic software to detect still images
and the screen will dull automatically to avoid burn.
My issue with the shop is that they were aware of these issues but failed to
mention them, When I put this to the manager he said, " if we told all
customers about this issue it would stop them buying our screens" go figure
!
I have written the shop asking for a replacement and await there responce
