Ah! good old Comet.

I can still remember going to buy a Dreamcast from Comet in the late 90's,
they had sold out of those but instead tried to flog me a memory card for
the system!!!!

or the time I bought my first PC from Comet (what a great store!) and all
they delivered was a printer!
after waiting a week for the PC, I rang them and they said it had arrived in
the store but they couldn't deliver for another four days which I found a
little odd as the store was only 3 miles from my house and I was paying 10
delivery charge.
so instead I picked it up myself and took it home only to find that all the
leads had european connections so it still wouldn't work.

then shortly after the monitor packed up but I did pay extended warranty on
this so rang Comet only to be told that they didn't deal with the warranty
or the replacement of faulty items and gave me a number for the computer
manufacturer so I had to deal with them instead which made it sort of
pointless in getting the warranty in the first place if Comet were going to
do bugger for me! it took me 3 weeks to get a replacement monitor.

Comet aren't my favourite place to buy from :)
