My modded xbox (xbmc) seems to do a very good job of playing dvds on my
50inch hd tv at both 720p and 1080i, through a component connection.
The picture quality on regular DVDs is superb. Currently using my xbox 360
(xbox isnt powerful enough to play genuine hd files) to stream Terminator 2
HD from a media centre PC upstairs. Looks very good, no dropped frames, very
clear picture, does show up weaknesses in the special effects though, which
are missed at a lower res....
