How do I connect this little lot?

Pace Digital Cable Set Top Box
Pioneer PDP-436XDE Plasma TV
Panasonic DMR-E85H DVD Recorder with built in Hard Drive
TV Aerial

I have SCART and Component cables and an aerial splitter to do the job, but I am unsure which to use between the
different AV sockets on the 3 pieces of equipment. I also mention the TV aerial as there are 2 and in the case of the
TV 3 in and out sockets on the pieces of equipment and so i'm not sure which to connect to which to make a complete
circuit.

Also what settings (component, video, RGB, sound etc) should each of them be set to.
