There is the possibility of multi-foramt player capable of HD DVD and
BD discs as well as backward compatability with DVD. It was suggested
on the Register today but not confirmed. Mind you this comes at a
hefty price.
And will it even care about Divx, Xvid, PC streaming?
Personally I am more than happy with the image I get from standard DVDs
on my Pioneer HD Plasma through the component leads. The only interest
I have really in Blu-Ray or HD DVD is capacity. I would like to get
whole series' on one disc once downloaded. Lost for example needed 2.5
standard DVDs to store all the Divx Files.
