Not being funny but have you read the manuals??
They usually suggest the best way of connecting your setup.
Wherever possible use component ie with your E85.
With the cable box use RGB scart to the E85 and then the E85 to your plasma.
Obviously connect your tv aerial to the cable box and then loop to the TV
and/or the E85 too if need be.
BTW I'm interested in how long you have had the E85 and if it still works
ok??
Mine won't dub to dvd anymore and keeps carshing and rebooting regularly!
It is out of warranty but I don't agree with having to pay to fix it!
