It is quite normal for Play and many others to send multiple orders in
separate consignments. Apart from anything else, if you order three discs at
17 each, you avoid paying VAT - and they may also fit through your
letterbox, thus avoiding a trip to the sorting office or Parcelforce depot.
In this instance, a single parcel would have resulted in your paying VAT on
40 instead of 24....
