OK, this ones for the other tech geeks etc out there...
I just bought a JVC DRM7 DVD Recorder multiregion from store. It records quite well,
and R2 PAL playback is really quite good ! However, it plays very jerkily on (what I
have now determined is) NTSC discs. It is not a regional hack problem as it does it
on rebuilt R2 NTSC discs. It stutters on lateral panning shots..
I also bought the LG 32LX2R LCD and I was worried it might have been a NTSC P/B on
TV problem, but sticking my old Pioneer 656a back in circuit has proved it to be all
down to the JVC - it just doesnt like NTSC discs...
Has anyone any experience of this on any other JVC machines ?
