I read this with interest as I have just got myself a "all-singing" DVD
drive for 35 and I have a bucket load of photos and stuff I want to clean
off the HD, but want to keep. If DVD-Ram is the way to go, is there any risk
of the disc going blank over time - as with some very old burnt CD discs. I
used to have some old CD-Rom discs whoch have blanked themselves with time
and lost a lot of stuff as a result. I would not want to a repeat of this.
