Three months ago I bought a Packard Bell (NEC in USA) EasyNote R8
(Centrino) - Model 1800DR, with 1 Gb RAM, 1.8 Ghz processor, 80 Gb storage,
dual layer DVD burner, 15.4" display & a few other "specials" as standard
equipment & so far so good. But must admit that lots of people say that
Toshiba is considered to the top brand in laptops. Doing some research I
noticed that Packard Bell is the name NEC uses in Europe, Australia & Asia.
