I had a quick peak on their website in the support-section. They used to
have a list with hardware requirements, but I can't find it.

Your system is up-to-date. Like someone else mentioned, half of the people
have luck, the other half nothing but misery with Studio. Sometimes people
who had a nicely running system of say Studio 8, decide to upgrade to
version 9, and then trouble starts. It's just very very difficult to say
with Studio which category you're in.
If they will give your money back, please, get it back, and get something
better. I already mentioned Vegas, but there is also Adobe Premiere
Elements, Ulead VideoStudio and a few more which will give you less
problems.
