I saw the boom in the frame a lot in a recent German feature (about an
old woman who was made to believe the Berlin Wall never fell, I forget
the title).
Anyway, I kept seeing to boom dip into frame during simple singles and
2-shots, while wide angle shots with lots of actor movement were clean
and sounded fairly natural (because of better boom work, wireless, ADR-
who knows...).
