No problem with the info. As for Canopus, I have heard good things about
their products, and they have a loyal following. Sorta sounds like most
NLE's out there.
You look at the features that each bring to the table. Decide what
features you want (now and in the possible future). Read their forums to
get a feel of typical problems they might have, and ask questions (as
you are doing now).
While trial software is nice, you still won't be pushing it to the
limit. Also, the learning curve is there.
