Here is what I want to do.
I want to create a multimedia recording of a conference, with several
presenters. They might be using Mac, Windows, or Linux, but they will
all attach these to a video projector. I want to record exactly what is
projected onto the big screen, whether it is a PowerPoint presentation,
or a demonstration in another software. I can't put something on the
computers as I don't have access to them, and each is a different
system.
So, is there a box with a hard disk that I can connect in series or in
parallel with the video projector, so that each presentation is recorded
at high quality? I want to then synch this with a video of the
presenter, so I would need a timeline on the recording.
From my questions you can probably tell I am not an expert in hardware
connectivity, so any hints are welcome. :-)
