I know what you mean Anthony R.
I had programs that ran thru Arexx scripting for doing a lot of "stuff"
with the Toaster. I spent time "pre-thinking" of what I wanted to do
before doing it. Knowing what wipes I was going to use and where, along
with what CG. I then sat down with my "crib notes" and let the tape
roll! It would be an intense session of doing it on the fly, but one
that the finished product had rave reviews from the customers.
When the Amiga finally went bust, I had hopped for a reasonable PC
solution from NewTek (which had lost some key people as they split to
form Play Inc), but it didn't come. So, I went DPS Editbay. From there,
DV500 and now Liquid Edition Pro.
I still have my Toaster/Amiga, but haven't powered it up in ages.
