My question is a basic one about the signal flow of a digital video
camera.
Is the playback of a MiniDV tape affected by which camera is playing it
back?
For example, if I take a tape I recorded on my Panasonic DVX100A, and
play it on a friend's single-CCD cheapo camcorder, will it look like it
was recorded on the Panasonic or the cheapo? What if I try to FireWire
upload it to Final Cut - will there be a quality loss if I use the
cheapo's FireWire port?
