The quality of the video on a DVD is determined by the quality of the
MPEG encoding softare and by the encoding settings (the comression
ratio, etc.)
Does your software allow you to adjust the compression settings?
There are free/cheap utilities out there that will create MPEG files
for DVDs which allow you to adjust the compression settings.
www.videlhelp.com is a goldmine of information on MPEG
encoders and encoding.
