I've got the full version of Vegas and have always been very happy with the
mpeg encoding. I find it hard to believe that something like WinDVD Creator
could come close.
If you don't want to spend the price ($450) for the full version of Vegas,
try Vegas MovieStudio+DVD.
Less features but it's only $90 on the Sony site and DVD authoring is built
in.
