I always thought the best way to store video tapes was to keep them
rewound in their cases- store upright at room temperature.
maybe slightly cooler than room temperature.
Im working with a music producer who told me he wants me to edit some
dv footage he shot of a big musician.
He said "Ive got about 2 years of tape in my fridge"
At first I thought he was joking- or being metaphorical or something
but no
he REALLY keeps his tapes in a refrigerator
hes very wrong on this right?
cold air hurts dv tape- right?
