Hey Rick,

Are you looking at MPEG playback, or using decks and players, or a
combination?

Check out Leightronix (www.leightronix.com) . We've used a PRO-16 for
years at our Public Access facility and they make controllers for just
about any player (both professional and consumer) out there, which has
been great as we seem to always have a multitude of formats going at
one time (SVHS, Hi-8, VHS, DVD, mini DV, DV & DVCam to name a few over
the last 10 years). The scheduling software is very good and easy to
use. Plus, they've come out with all kinds of new networkable
products that can pretty much automate your entire station. You may
want to check out the new Nexus which is a 2-channel digital video
player, digital video recorder, video/audio router, DVD & VCR
controller and messaging system all in one. Plus they have the nicest
sales and service people that I've dealt with.

Best of luck!!

Ryan
