The +RW format includes an editable mode with a different file
structure from the usual "video mode" DVD.
On the video mode disc, could it be that your "first file" is
VIDEO_TS.VOB, or VTS_##_0.VOB, while the ones that work are
VTS_##_[1+].VOB files? Only the VTS_##_[1+] files contain your video
content. I don't really know what is in VIDEO_TS.VOB and VTS_##_0.VOB
files... Menus?
Or is your "first file" VTS_01_1.VOB, and therefore you are missing
the beginning of your video program?
