They are not looking for a just an artist they want a artist editor and
animator just look at the skill set, Flash, FCP, After Effects. I
still feel that $500 is exploitation. I bet their talent gets paid a
decent amount for each show. Just because someone lacks experience is
no reason to undervalue their talent.
Now it's not that I don't believe in paying your dues and working your
way up. Spent many hours' video taping bar review lectures when I
started out. The only difference is I was getting paid a fair wage for
that skill set. Here they want to pay cheap wages for high skills.
