Personallly I'd go with one of the new AMD 64 machines. A number of video
users I know love these machines for their speed. Look at
http://videoguys.com/DIY.html if you want some ideas as to configurations.
Add at least 2 more hard drives to your list. Recommendations are for a
system drive and at least 2 video drives - one for the raw footage and
another for the edited project.
Also, I don't see a DVD burner on your list.
What software do you plan to use? Some NLE manufacturers have a very
specific list of hardware they recommend. Others don't care other than to
suggest something similar to your proposal.
