Do yourself a big favor and forget Pinnacle, and get either Ulead Video
Studio 9 (with HDV plugin) for $80 or, if you need the more complex feature
set, Sony Vegas 6.0c. These are profoundly better, do not depend on video
card characteristics, and work as advertised with HDV very well.
I am using the cheapest nVidia 5200 video cards in my editing machines
(which sell for about $35) and the combination works absolutely fine.
