Well, I think that is a major problem then. Pinnacle seems to aim at the
people who want an easy to use program, and most likely that is a category
of users, who are not very proficient with their computers either. I know
that if you follow their hardware recommendations strictly, their programs
will have less problems. But still, Avid's hardware requirements are
tighter than Pinnacle's, and I have seen it run stable on a big variety of
hardware.
Avid should have stuck out their ears, and done some decent testing, before
releasing version 10, as they cut into their own fingers as well with this.
