As Richard pointed out, you're not likely to find someone with
experience with recent versions of both. I tried Premiere several revs
back and didn't like it, not at all. I tried Vegas Video 3.0 and never
looked back. Still upgrading and using it on a daily basis. I guess it
would be fair to say both fill the needs of advanced amateurs or pros,
and both have things that need to be improved.
As for the sig, sorry if I seemed to be the jack-booted thug of Usenet.
But if you want your sig to work like it should (the way the people who
write the newsgroup reading programs designed it) it's two dashes, one
space, then a return. All other variations do not register with the
programs as a sig and not automatically stripped from replies, nor are
they displayed as a sig but part of the message.
