I got a cheapo Canon digital camera a few years back and it had a
wonderful program called Auto-Stitch-- works every time. You would want
to add a wide angle adapter for interiors. The trick here is to make a
small plate so the camera rotates over the center plane of the lens. If
you rotate the camera forward of that point you run into weird
overlapping gaps.
