How does one 'learn to play well' with software that crashes regularly,

Oh, I forgot, it's not Pinnacle's fault, it's my PC.

Indeed. After the best part of ten years using Pinnacle products, it
would take a hell of a lot to convince me to ever buy one again... in
my experience their hardware has always been good but their software
has always been buggy as hell.
