Rediscovered the image pan filter (it's been a while). Cropped the
sides and exported to 720x576. Nice image.
This gave a 7:1 render time unfortunately, but I bet there's a way to
do it near realtime with DVStorm, which I'll follow up when time
available.
Which way to go? It's simpler and far faster to let the FX1 shoot DV,
crop and output in real time. Shooting HDV is probably the way to go
though, as the resolution at the beginning of the processing is so
much better, which will hopefully give a better image in the end.
I'm going to shoot HDV.
