I've got an average time PD150 - newly arrived, uncertain history -
that consistently damages tape. Some edge damage, once in a while a
long diagonal crease.
The obvious way to get the definitive answer is to send it to my
repair guy but he's on the other coast, neither cheap nor quick to get
the camera to and from him.
So if anyone can speak from experience about what "usually" causes
this and what fixes it - cleaning and adjustment, or a complete
replacement of the head assembly.
I'd appreciate any replies.
