MSI motherboard K8N-NEO4, 1 GB ram, 300GB WD EIDE system drive, 320GB WD
EIDE storage drive. I was dissappointed to find onboard firewire was an
optional upgrade, but put in a $20 expansion card and it's now fine.
It's a nice, higher end all around system, but I didn't *really* go for
the gold in many areas except I did get a very nice case and replaced
the included power supply with an Antec 400W power supply.
With Vegas Video, it's capture/output native tongue is .avi, but I have
to render to MPEG2 format a lot of the time. To do that, you need to buy
the Sony plugin or have DVD Architect. Running WinXP x64 for the OS.
