If you're going to build a machine, I would suggest going to Adobe's website
and find out what, if any, systems are 'approved' for use with 6.5. Then go
to that computer manufacturer's site and look up the specs on the 'approved'
machine. Find out which chipset they're using in the mobo. Then Google
that chipset and find out which mobos use it, and select one from those
available.

Whether or not this is true, I can't say, but I was recently told that when
building what amounts to server machines (which I have for my workstation),
the ASUS boards (which I have) do not tend to have especially long lifes
(which I was not thrilled to learn). The Supermicros are better. Or so
they said. Probably because they carry Supermicro. (I'm a little jaded.)
I'm sure there are others.

Randy
