Because people frequently encounter problems playing
back LP tapes, most especially when played back on a
different machine, but sometimes playing back on the
same machine that recorded it. If you hang around here
long enough you will see people coming through here
complaining that they can't read their LP tapes anymore.
If I were going to tape something and then capture it the
same evening, I might risk it, but otherwise I would avoid it.
