Thanks again. I called Sony at the number you provided
and they said the same thing. No inserts of any kind.
Boo, Hiss. You have to go up to the DSR-1500 to
get insert edits in that product line. The 1500 is much
more expensive, and you have to make choices about
which I/O you want to buy, unlike the 45 where it is all
just there. Not everything I've heard about the 1500 was
good. I think it was a complaint about using the 1500 with
Vegas (which I will want to do, of course).
