I am desperately needing software advice for producing a video. I am
an amateur. I've done slide shows using still pictures and music with
Windows Movie Maker and did a video a couple of years ago with
Pinnacle. What I'm trying to do is edit several video clips from a
funeral. What I want to do specifically is take an mpeg, and have it
fade to a series of pictures while music is being played (the audio
from the mpeg) then back to the video.

Windows Movie Maker nor the awful program that came with the video
camera (Cyberlink PowerDirector Express) allow you to do this. The
picture has to go at the beginning or end of the clip. I see there are
Video, Title, Music, and Voice tracks. How the hell are you supposed
to INTEGRATE photos into your video? If I just need a software that
will allow it, please let me know!
