I recently received an older aluminum Hot-pod cheap off ebay..

Ok, with that said, I don't have very much left for a head.

Will something older from O'Connor, Vinten, Manfrotto work?

Will an adapter for my current Manfrotto head destroy my image? AKA
Tight Cheap ass Frankenstein?


I know they have an adapter that will allow my current "Professional"
Manfrotto 501 head adapt to the Hot-Pod, but I'm really thinking about
something used professional a little older for 100mm bowl..


SO yeah, I want the most bang for the buck and went used E-bay!

But I did get 100mm Bowl!

So now what Head?

This will be for lighter PD-150 DVCAM cameras.

Thanks very much for your kind advice as I am just starting to learn
about 100mm supports.

(I'm not asking to buy used gear, just asking what used gear to buy

I have seen 100mm heads for $200 to $350 used and new.
