You're getting good advice elsewhere in this thread, so I won't repeat.
A 60 ft throw to a 16-ft screen may be a bit much for a standard lens. We
spec'ed one a year or so ago for a church at 75 ft, and it definitely had to
have a lens upgrade.
Sanyo was the preferred brand for this church at the time, because at the
time, they had a 3-day service guarantee - - if Sanyo couldn't fix it in 3
business days, they would ship out a loaner. I don't know if this is still
in place, but it's something to ask about.
