Hello
I have now work with Premiere Elements 2 and it works very well, exept
for one issue. I can not capure from the firewire. PE2 says that the
camera is offline even if PE2 can control the camera. There is no
audio or picure in PE2, only on the CAM.
If I run Windows Movie Maker then it works. It did also work on the
demo version of PE1. On the adobe support suite I have found that
there are other with the same/similar problem. Searching on the net it
seems that those who have had Pinnacel Studio 10 installed have more
problem. I have hade this software installed, returned and replaced
with PE2.
I have not found any fix or workournd to fix this issue, anybody that
have more information about this ?
(I have used WMM to capure, then scenalyser to spit the file into
scenes, then done the work in PE2. The reason for not continue with
this is that I found a "audio dropout" that is added by someting. This
dropout is not on the analog output on the CAM so my gues is that is
some software issue. Hoppfully when only using one software this will
be gone)
System: Panasonic NV-DS65 -> XP(Home), Intel 3GHz, two HD (OS+film),
2G Ram
