I read a current magazine article about SONY's new HDV camera. $1200
street in the U.S., and over $2,600 at a discount store in Canada. It
said that it didn't come with (high-def ?) video-editing software unlike
a typical consumer camcorder - AND that the cheapest high-def
video-editing software costs $699 - U.S..
But I see that version 10 of the Pinnacle Systems video editing software
for the consumer is $129 and includes this capability.
