I bought my sticks and head separately. As I recall, the sticks were around
$500. The head was an eBay purchase at, I think, around $60.
I looked up the 3445 at B&H's site. The sticks are rated for 13.3 pounds.
Aside from being 3-section, it looks similar to my 3444D.
The 3433 (501) head is also rated at 13.2 pounds (I trust B&H's specs). It
looks like an improvement over the 3160 that I use as it contains a spirit
level. However, it also weighs 3.2 pounds, which is quite a bit more, I
think, than my 3160 (which comes in a 1.5 pounds, if I remember correctly).
