I have two xl-1s mounted on one tripod via a frame I made to hold them.
I do this so I can film close-ups for highlite tape at the year-end
event on one camera and the coach's tape with the other camera. I also
have a vx2000 that I use as a third camera or when it is difficult to
set up the double Canon unit. The problem I am having is that with the
XLs the focus tends to go in and out as I follow the ball. The Sony
holds the focus almost perfectly from start to finish regardless to how
fast I pan in or out. Anyone have any thought as to how I can get
these Canon xl1s to do the same? Thought I have had is to sell the
xl1s and get another VX2000. Thanks for any help. BTW the sony seems
to have a much better picture regardless of lighting conditions.
Thanks. Dave
