What software? Which Canopus device?
I've used 2 or three different models and none of them come
with any sofware. (ADVC-100, ADVC-110, ADVC-300, etc.)
They use the same capture software that works with any
camcorder, etc.

They don't give you the "secret" keys to decoding commercial
DVDs if you don't agree to play by the rules. However if you
can afford a trip to China and speak Mandarin, you might find
someting.
