You've looked at these side-by-side of A/B on a broadcast monitor, with a
scope ?

I admit that I haven't, but I'd bet you a steak that there's all kinds of
noise and color contamination in the 1/3" pictures- - not to mention fixed
pattern noise in low-light situations. (OK, the DXC-3000 is lousy in this
FPN spec as well, but it _was_ a 1985 first-generation product.)

And don't get me started on the lack of manual controls . . .
