My dear friend Smarty.. I wasn't saying you shouldn't let others know how to
contact you. I was merely saying that I did not think it was such a good
idea to post your email addy in a NG. You can use on of the methods used in
people sigs in this NG to 'hide' your email address with extra characters or
otherwise mangle it.. I suppose it is worthless if humans are gathering
email addresses but it does lessen the likelyhood of a bot doing it.
regarding the HDV tapes. Of course if you are trying to transfer 20
Gigabytes of data you would probably want to use the mail. Not that it is
impossible to transfer that much data but is would be problematic for most.
I was merely offering the only available methods available to you.
