yes, the products offered on the respective websites named were tried and
neither of them worked in our NLE (non linear editor) while their respective
sales departments departements said they would, but one of their tech
support guys said, "they don't know what their talking about (sales) they
just want to sell stuff and then we get stuck trying to make it work, when
it wasn't designed for that (our) application."
